| Allene Burdette, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Interventional Radiology at the University of Utah School of Medicine and a physician at Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah Hospital and Clinics, and the George E. Whalen VA Medical Center.
Her oncology practice focuses on minimally invasive procedures, including
tumor removal and intra-arterial therapies such as chemoembolization and
radioembolization. Burdette also maintains an active outpatient and inpatient
interventional radiology practice where she treats patients with pelvic
venous insufficiency, uterine fibroids, and peripheral vascular disease.
Burdette received her BA in biology from Johns Hopkins
University in Baltimore, Maryland, and her medical degree from the University
of Kentucky in Lexington. She completed a diagnostic radiology residency
at Penn State’s Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania,
and an interventional radiology fellowship at the University of Utah School
of Medicine.
