Phillip Barnette, MD

Assistant Professor

Philip Barnette, MD, DVM, is an assistant professor in the School of Medicine at the University of Utah and a member of the Imaging, Diagnostics, and Therapeutics Program. He is a pediatric oncologist-hematologist.

Barnette is interested in the study of acute childhood leukemia, clinical trials of leukemia, and research and therapeutic advances in childhood leukemia.

He received both a bachelor’s of science and doctorate of veterinary medicine degree at Oregon State University, Corvallis. He received a medical degree at Oregon Health Sciences University, Portland.

He is a board-certified member of the American Board of Pediatrics.
